Almost ten years ago I had the blessing of meeting with my dear husband on the internet. The interesting thing about this whole thing is that none of us were looking for someone. We were both browsing the Internet for various reasons, when our paths crossed. He spoke with his mother and some friends and I were looking for a native English speaking person to practice my English, which was terrible at the moment.

We exchanged a few words and was a sort of "friends" in a very short time. I think I was interesting (or funny) to talk to him so great difficulty, its language, and it was interesting for me because of the perception I had of him at first sight. I saw him as intelligent, caring and a man of good character (and still after all these years, these properties).

Now employed at 4 months of ongoing talks on the phone and internet, we (mind you, but to see each other in person again). Of course, shortly after we got engaged, he managed to travel all the way to Brazil and the parents ask for my hand in marriage (the Portuguese name). My parents were very happy with him really impressed and appreciated his efforts to try to talk to them in Portuguese on their own.

At the time I was about 8-9 months before his college graduation, so we decided to get married when I finished.

As planned, we will soon marry, after I finished school. It was the happiest day of my life. My whole life I've prayed to God that I am a good man for a husband. A man who does not drink, play cards, to cheat and smoke. Well, I have all my wishes, with the exception of the smoking section (I guess you can not have everything).
